Wisconsin Higher Education Grant - WTC
WHEG - WTC has committed 173.88% ($19,643,934) of its appropriation with 22,078 awards. This is
1,107 fewer awards but 33.68% more committed than at this time last year. The final commitment for
1996-97 was 162.78%.
Wisconsin Higher Education Grant - UW
WHEG - UW has committed 137.61% ($22,708,483) of its appropriation with 23,585 awards. This is 540
fewer awards and 16.66% less committed than at this time last year. The final commitment for 1996-97
was 158.39%.
Wisconsin Tuition Grant PLEASE NOTE: Keep in mind that awarding changes occurred in all three programs in December
of 1997 due to additional funding available.
WTG has committed 111.67% ($19,513,502) of its appropriation with 9,925 awards. This is 119 more
awards than 1996-97 and 7.79% less committed than at this time last year. In 1996-97 the program had
committed 119.46% of its appropriation at this time last year. WTG commitment cannot exceed 122% per
statutory requirement.
