NOTIFICATION LIST PROCESSING
Notification lists for January will be produced on January 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th.
The Academic Excellence notification lists will be produced on January 6th and the 20th.
CHANGE PENDING FOR NOTIFICATION ERROR REPORTS
In our continuing efforts to streamline our processes and be more cost efficient, HEAB will be
combining the three error reports associated with the notification list into one,
effective at the start of the 04-05 processing year.
We are seeking 2 or 3 schools from each sector to help HEAB design and test this new
process. These volunteer schools will receive the original three reports and the new single
report concurrently for side-by-side comparison with live 03-04 data. We are looking for design and
data-accuracy feed-back.
Please email Barb Moermond (barbara.moermond@heab.state.wi.us)
if your school would be willing to volunteer. We will work together to set up a schedule and to
develop the best notification error report.
Please be sure to call or email Barb or Connie Hutchison if you have questions or concerns!

Mary Lou is working closely with WAICU and their members to get precise
student numbers before processing 2nd semester vouchers. This is why committed and spent numbers are
lower at this point than the same time last year.
HEAB, the UW System and the Department of Administration were able to resolve the issue of
transferring WHEG-UW PR funds between the 03-04 and the 04-05 academic years. More information
about this will be sent to the HEAB Board, the UW System Advisory committee and UW FAOs within the
next couple of weeks.
UPCOMING DEADLINES AND EVENTS:
Institutional Initial TIP nominations should be sent to John Whitt at HEAB by January
